The After- Expo Use Concept integrates the whole Expo Site in the growing Megacity Shanghai and suggests according to the Expo Theme „Better city, better life“ the development and marketing of an energy efficient and sustainable new city district. Sustainable design elements as traffic, open space layout, target groups and building technologies will be analyzed and evaluated again and form together with the After- Expo Use suggestion one holistic system. To emphasize the uniqueness of the building itself and its excellent location, the Expo- Axis as innovative building offers one central platform for research, representation and communication of trend- setting and sustainable products of international companies.
